Laser Cutting & Engraving

Our in-house laser cutter has opened up the possibilities of what we are able to produce. There is so much that can be done on the laser machine - we’ve used our laser cutter to produce everything from radiator covers to dog tags! Suitable materials that can be used on the laser machine include MDF, plywood, cast acrylic, paper, card, glass and more.
Here are some general examples of what it can do:

Custom made stencils with your own artwork, for any number of uses. If you are looking for a stencil to use just once, or many times, we have the means to create stencils for almost any application.

Wood Cutting and Engraving
Lasering wood offers both a practical and artistic dimension to what we can offer. Using MDF or plywood, we can create scale models, hard book covers and so much more. When combined with an engraved design, wood items are always authentic and impressive.

Paper Cutting and Engraving
Our laser machine offers a much more flexible solution to traditional printing processes - embossing and dye-cutting paper will often incur a large setup cost. With laser cut and engraved paper products, you don’t have to order thousands to make it cost effective. Next time you run out of business cards, or want invitations made, why not consider laser engraving and cutting instead?

Acrylic (Perspex) Cutting and Engraving
Acrylic cutting and engraving is by far the most common application for our laser machine. We are using it on pretty much a daily basis to create plaques and flat cut letters for signs. Engraving images and logos onto acrylic can give you a similar effect to glass etching, but will cost a lot less.

Glass Engraving
Glass engraving can transform an ordinary glass pane to a bespoke work of art and can add a real ornamental quality to everyday glass products. This can be used to make prestigious awards, plaques and picture displays.
Our laser bed is 1200mm x 900mm. For larger products, have a look at our page for CNC Routing Services.
